Success

What does success look like for you?  Success can come in multiple ways.

One, and most obvious, is through financial rewards.  The ability to gain great wealth through your accomplishments is usually one of the easiest ways to tell success.  However, there are those even with great success financially that live a very simple life.

Another source of success is through accomplishments.  These accomplishments are usually through personal goals that an individual has set up for themselves.  Yes, there are those that have accomplished things that have been asked or thrust upon them to do.

The final source of success is from acknowledgements.  There are a lot of people who relish the fact that their name gets mentioned or appears somewhere of nobility.

I wish, and working on, being financially successful.  I know covid really hurt my business, along with many others.  Also, personal issues didn’t help with this.  However, I look back at what I have accomplished with photography, where it has taken me, and taking me is my source of success.  Plus, I enjoy doing it.  Photography let me be a semipro team photographer which landed me the opportunity to photograph in US Bank Stadium, the home of the MN Vikings.  I have been able to travel and get some amazing photographs from different parts of the world.  I have had photographs submitted to National Geographic, which was amazing.  I have photographed for businesses that have seen success themselves.  I have been part of destination wedding, which was fun.  I have captured wildlife (some I didn’t think was possible), landscape (that still takes my breath), and people (who have been a joy to work with).  Through this, I can have my very own photography show in October 2024 at a premier resort in Scottsdale, AZ.

I am not sure where photography will take me in the future.  I am excited to see where it is going to take me and allow me to accomplish it.  I do know that I am very grateful for this opportunity to photograph.  I am open to where it takes me and my family.
